I first heard of Smith & Sons Renovations & Extensions in 2007 before it had started, as I had a GJ Gardner Homes franchise in the Illawarra and knew the correlation between the two businesses.
I enjoyed watching the growth of Smith & Sons over their first few years from handing out Smith & Sons caps when we where building an Orphanage in Kenya to Smith & Sons coming to our town doing trade nights. My office was even giving renovations leads to the local master.
The opportunity came up in mid 2011 to purchase the Southern NSW/ACT Master Area and I knew that this is a once in a lifetime chance to be apart of something special. I had great respect, both business wise and personally for the CEO and all of the Directors of Smith & Sons having known them for many years, through association with GJ Gardner.
My skill set as a franchisee for GJ Gardner Homes, understanding of the systems along with my willingness to learn, I knew I could do a good job as a Master. I love the feeling of creating a team environment with my own business and this would put me in a great position to lead a team of dedicated professionals building a brand within a designated area.
It also seemed like a logical next step from being a franchisee to being a master. I partnered up with Chris known that he had the skill sets complemented mine and that we would be a great team.

I was first introduced to Corey Passey & Leigh Wallis of Smith &Sons by a good friend, whom eventually became my business partner.
